Make half

Ingredients

For the cake:

  • 0.5 lb beef

  • 1 egg

  • 2/3 cup rolled oats

  • Mozzarella cheese - a bit only

For the frosting

  • 1 cup greek yogurt

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

Instructions

Preheat oven at 350F. In a big bowl, add the beef, carrot, egg and oats. Mix well and divide into 2 portions. Use 2 x 4" bake pan. In each pan, pat down half of the mixture. Bake for 40min.

While the beef is cooking, combine the greek yogurt and peanut butter using a hand mixer and beat it until you have firm peaks. When the cake is done baking, let it cool before decorating. Stack the 2 pieces of cake and with a spatula cover it with the frosting. It doesn't need to be super straight at this point. Just make sure the entire cake is covered. Put it in the freezer for 10 min to chill and firm this first layer of frosting. Try to leave it as straight as possible. Because the meat shrink a bit inside the pan, you might have rounded edges that can be tricky to frost. Then, decorate with the rest of frosting and doggie treats.
